Day Care
GrandeVille's Adult Day Care Program provides the perfect introduction to community living. Specialized full- and half-day sessions are provided in a profesisonal, supervised environment. Geared for parents and other adults, these special programs are also available for those with Alzheimer's disease or other memory impairments.
Highlights of our adult day care programs
Our traditional adult day care program includes:
- Specialized full- or half-day sessions
- A professionally-staffed and fully-supervised environment
- Assistance with personal care tasks and medication reminders
- Daily activities, including educational, musical, and entertainment programs
- Religious and cultural programs and services
- Delicious home-cooked meals and healthy between-meal nourishment
- Access to library, game rooms, lounges, social areas, and theatre room
- Access to all GrandeVille services, including beauty shop and barber shop
- Operates Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Our Memory Care Adult Day Care Programs
Our memory care adult day care program includes all of the services of our traditional day care program, plus:
- A higher staff-to-resident ratio
- Life-enrichement activities designed for those with memory impairments
- A secure environment with wander safeguards
- Operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Our very reasonable adult day care rates are:
- Traditional Program
- Half-day (4hrs. or less – includes meal & snack) $22.00
- Full-day (Any 8 hrs. – includes 2 full meals and snack) $35.00
- Each additional hour or fraction thereof — $9.50
- 4 full days or more in same calendar week — deduct $25
- Memory Care Program
- Hourly: $20 / first hour, $9.50 each additional hour or fraction thereof
- Half-day (4hrs. or less, includes full meal and snack) $30
- Full-day (any 8 hrs, includes 2 full meals and snack) $43
- 4 full days or more in same calendar week — deduct $25
For the well-being and protection of our residents, we are licensed and regulated by the New York State Department of Health.
We also require background checks for all employees.
