** Covid-19 Update and Information **
Here at GrandeVille we continue to monitor and assess all aspects of the current Covid-19 pandemic. While this situation is unprecedented in GrandeVille’s 40+ year tenure, we feel confident that the current CDC and DOH guidelines are the best defense against the spread of this virus.
At this time we are still limiting the amount of people allowed to enter our buildings. Only those deemed essential are permitted to come in contact with our residents.
This includes deemed necessary for a resident’s care:
- GrandeVille staff
- EMTs and other emergency personnel
- Medical providers
- Physical/Occupational therapists
We take the risk of Covid-19 very seriously, and while we currently do not have any known cases in the building, we are following the below steps to ensure our residents’ health:
- Monitoring residents and staff closely for the appearance of any symptoms
- GrandeVIlle staff are wearing masks when in contact with all residents
- Practicing proper hand hygiene for all staff and residents
- Daily sanitizing of public spaces
All of us at GrandeVille realize this pandemic is a difficult time, and not being able to see your loved ones in person only exacerbates this. We are working diligently to keep the lines of communication open between our residents and their loved ones. This includes setting up FaceTime appointments for our residents, continuing to post on social media about daily activities and including messages from the residents, and always taking phone calls to provide “check-ins” on how your loved one is doing that day. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any new ideas for communication, want to set up a time to chat with your loved one, or just need an update.
We will continue to provide regular updates on any policy changes at GrandeVille and of course, provide updates on our residents health and happiness.
