  • How do we set up a tour?

    Call the main office number and ask for our Community Relations Representative. We will be glad to help you.

  • What are the care options available?

    We provide a continuum of care with three levels of care all licensed through the New York State Department of Health. Traditional Assisted Care, Enhanced Assisted Care and Memory Care with Day Care Services and Short-Term stays available.

  • How is the level of care determined?

    The prospective resident's assessment is a collaborative effort completed in conjunction with the resident, family/representative, physician(s) and facility staff to ensure the proper level of care is determined and the resident's needs are met.

  • Do you have an affiliation with a physician?

    Yes, a doctor from the Unity Geriatrics comes weekly for those who choose an in-house doctor. A podiatrist also comes to GrandeVille on a regular basis.

  • Do you provide transportation to medical appointments?

    No but we have a list of local transportation companies that provide rides for appointments. Our facility bus is free to those who participate in our recreational programs.

  • What types of activities are offered?

    Residents enjoy a variety of recreational programs such as; card games, trivia, arts and crafts, bingo, live musical entertainment as well as trips out to lunch, local festivals, stores and much more.

  • How do I pay the monthly rent and when is payment due?

    Payment is due by the 10th day of each month and shall be delivered to the Business Manager's Office. Rates will be pro-rated upon admission, for the balance of entry month. Payments remaining unpaid after the due date shall incur a monthly flat rate service charge. Payments can be mailed to GrandeVille or by setting up an automatic bank transfer payment through your financial institution and they will mail the check directly to us.

  • Does the room come furnished?

    Yes, the furniture is provided as well as linens, towels and curtains. Future residents can bring their own if they prefer or mix/match with ours.

  • What is included in the monthly rent?

    Activities, housekeeping, laundry, three daily meals served "restaurant-style", daily snacks, 24/7 supervision, case management services, personal care such as shower and medication assistance. Additional services available in the Enhanced/Memory Care Residences.

  • Are there nurses on duty?

    Licensed Practical Nurses are staffed daily from 7am-11pm with shift supervisors staffing the 11pm-7am shift. The Director of Nursing is available and on-call 24/7.

  • Is smoking permitted?

    Smoking is not permitted inside the building, however there is a designated area for resident smoking in an outside courtyard.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Yes, but residents must be fully capable to care for their pet and independently maintain them safely. Each pet at maturity, may not weigh more than 16 pounds or measure more than 14 inches in height. All pets must be well-behaved, current with vaccinations and veterinary visits.

  • What types of rooms do you have?

    We offer a private room which is approximately 180 sq. ft. and a private suite that is approximately 320 sq. ft. All rooms have a private bath and both size rooms are available in each level of care.

  • Do you charge an entry or community fee?

    No.

  • Is the rent charge tax deductible?

    It is recommended that you confer with a professional tax preparer on this matter.
